When Jeramy was down in SoCal for four long days I was barely holding on!
I did however, learn a few things:
~ I'd rather travel with Jeramy.
~ My kids do nothing around the house, but make messes!
~ I have a new appreciation for single moms!
~ I actually can't sleep WITHOUT Jeramy snoring in my ear.
~ Me and all four kids do not fit in our bed. At least not comfortably anyhow.
~ My kids can talk an ear off a pig!!! ( I actually already knew that one...)
I was actually pretty proud of myself for actually getting through it! I didn't call once and ask him to come home! =)
One thing that did help was a fun day trip!
I had the kids help me clean the house. With the house picked up and swept, and the dishwasher, washer and dryer all running we left! I needed the house to be cleaned for two-seconds together!
I planned on going to Old Milll Park when I remembered that I had a friends memory card! I had it for too long! One of those things that you keep putting off and then you forget about it, and then remember WAY later and then you are completely embarrassed when returning it, because it had been so long! One of those things...
Sorry Garrett.
I had mentioned to the kids that we had to stop in San Rafael and Brady asked if we could drive by the Mission. So, plans changed and we decided to drop the card off, go to Mission San Rafael and head to a cute park up the street!
No we haven't converted!!! Brady's class studied Missions this year!
My little Mexican girl.
Poor boy is so out numbered...
We left the Mission and headed to Boyd Park.
Then we visited a little Museum all about Marin. It was darling! Crafts for the kids, a search and find game and a little play area for toddlers. And two of the sweetest ladies that were so excited about teaching the kids about Marin's history! We'll go back another day when I can look without having to break my neck trying to watch my children hop around like fleas!!! Man was my neck sore!!
While I was dropping the card off to Garrett I got to give Matt and Jason hugs too! Matt was sweet enough to encourage me to stop by and see his wonderful wife Laura!
I had such a lovely time! The kids took to each other so nicely. Maggie just toddled around and explored... Mary Rose mastered the Hula Hoop and was super happy to have a new audience!... Brady and Mason went back and forth between Legos and the computer... Jane entertained herself and Miles sang 'We are the Champions!" like a rockstar!
Time flew by! At least for me! =) And before I knew it, it was bedtime and we had to head home.
But, not before a few photos!
Mason was so sweet with Maggie... So Sweet!
HA!
Thank you Matt and Laura for helping me through the last day of Jeramy being gone!
And of course the next day I had to get Mary Rose a better hula hoop! The wave to be exact!
She can do all sorts of tricks now! She can hula hoop and turn in a circle and she can skip and hula hoop at the same time!!! She is... without a doubt, a "Hula Hoop Master!"

How awesome! It was so much fun. We loved having you and you're all welcome here any time! Tell Mary Rose that she's definitely a Hula Hoop Master. Way to go!! Can't wait to hang out with you and the gang again. Hopefully with Jeremy next time!

Way to go Mary Rose! I knew that you were going to be the Hula Hoop Champion soon! Thanks for coming over to play... We had a great time with you and your kids. I think that we have a few more play dates to schedule!
