Here we go...
1. Brady was told that this last weekend he would "for sure" get his bike fixed so he could stop riding his sisters pink bike. "Whatever it takes Bud." He was told. Little did we know that would that mean buying a brand new bike.
So, those of you bike shopping... you get what you pay for. Get a normal size bike. Because when you go to find tires for that 18" bike... you just might have a hard time finding them.
2. I don't like bugs. I don't. I understand we need bugs in our lives, but they need to stay away from me. Although, I do think some bugs are pretty. Like dragonflies!
I found this one the other day. I thought it was dead. I actually wasn't going to show you the pictures... But, the key word is thought. I THOUGHT it was dead. He was actually just too cold to fly.
And because I want you all to actually learn I found some facts on Dragonflies...
Source: Facts About Dragonflies - 21Facts.com
Oh? You wanna see some cool pictures?
This was when I thought he was dead... I now can see how he was holding on to the blade of grass.
"No! Leave me alone! Your big eye is creepy!"

Now he's praying. "please make her go away!"

So, I'm still thinking he's dead here and wanted to move him to a better spot...

And then I noticed he was alive... I was freaking out! I can't believe I moved a big live bug!

3. And just when you thought I was so super brave it gets better! Another bug!

"Moths, crickets, grasshoppers, flies, and other insects are usually the unfortunate recipients of unwanted mantid attention. However, the insects will also eat others of their own kind. The most famous example of this is the notorious mating behavior of the adult female, who sometimes eats her mate just after—or even during—mating. Yet this behavior seems not to deter males from reproduction."
During? For real?
Now, I'm not sure she's beautiful... but, very cool looking!
4. So, you know that bike story? About Bradys bike? We learned another bike lesson. The cheeper bikes, really can't be fixed when broken. Not only do they rarely have the "oddball" tire sizes anywhere... they don't make them so you can fix the peddles either.
Jeramy trying in vain to fix the broken peddle.

5. In the mist of Mary Roses bike drama Jane walks up to me and says, "Look momma! I drawled you!

I had no idea I was so pretty!
7. Jane wants to find that dragonfly and tell her that her name is "Angel" Isn't see sweet?
8. I have now told the kids that if they want their writing on my blog they must submit their entries to me on Tuesday evening. We will see how this goes...
9. Maggie slept better last night. She only woke up twice. I'm more hopeful today.
10. And just because we haven't see a picture of these two in a bit...

And yes, I got this post up with only 32 minutes to spare!

I know! Okay I have 9 more things, but they will have to wait for tonight. This one just couldn't wait!
Can you tell me miss you Bronwen and Caitlyn?
#2
I was going to kinda cheat and put these as my ten things for tonight, but I with the video I couldn't.
So click here for "Ten ways to look fabulous in pictures"
And if you don't get the photojojo news letter you should!
#3
Have I mentioned it's a good time to call you favorite photographer and schedule your Christmas/Holiday card photoshoot? Well, you should.
#4
So, Jeramy pointed out the other day our Photobooth it very full... I told him I'd go through it and delete what was lame and keep the good stuff. Boy! did I ever find some good stuff!
#5
Brady showed me a bookmark today. His carpet buddy gave it to him... SHE said it was "For being a nice carpet buddy"
He's so oblivious.
#6
I sometimes wonder myself how we do it...
#9
Note the girl in the back... I just love how she says "Australia"
#10
Oh! I hope you all are sitting down. This about killed me. I'm not sure if this is an original... I'm not sure if she'll be made at me for posting it. She's fast asleep...
How long did it take you to read/watch this post? This may go down in the record book for the longest post for me!

Yesterday was busy busy! Sorry...
1. I got this from my cousin Vicky... I'm dying to try it!
5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake
1 Coffee Mug
4 tablespoons flour (that's plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
Some nuts (optional)
Small splash of vanilla
Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well.
Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes on high. The cake
will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a
little and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT! (This can serve 2 if you want
to share!)
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because
now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the
day or night!
2. ONE of my favorite quotes of the week-
"I love when Jane talks. I love how she uses adjectives to describes the nouns she uses!"
-Mary Rose
3. Just for the record, Jeramy is very romantic.
4. And that brings me to fresh flowers...
I love having fresh flowers in my house. Fresh flowers and fresh baked cookies.
5. I made orange Jello the other day and I think, but Im not too sure, someone got into it...
6. Have you all heard of Skype? It's super cool and FREE! We love it!
7. I love having four kids. People ask all the time how we do it. It's a question we get A LOT! Almost as much as the "are you done?" question. I actually don't know what life would be like if we didn't have all these kids. It's our life... it's what we do. I'm not sure how we do it... I am sure we don't do it right all the time. I doubt we'd do this right ALL the time if we only had two kids... I just know that this phase in our lives won't last forever and I try everyday to embrace where we as a family are.
Like right now. Maggie slept through the night for the first 8 months and now she's waking up at 3:30AM every morning. I just look at it as a nice time I get to have with just her and as a bonus I get to watch The Daily Ten! I don't look at it as I need my sleep too and stress out about what the heck she's doing and wonder why she hates me! NO! Not me! I just go with the flow! Who? Me? Doesn't stress me out a bit!
Please don't buy that! I need my sleep!
8. This is Jane and her "spelling wand"

9. And this is jane "spelling" me.

10. Just a reminder... Christmas is around the corner! Contact your favorite photographer and get that picture taken! I'm sure she has some great new cards this year!

I feel Fall in the air and I don't like it....
Ten on Tuesday: Fall Edition.
1. Fall does mean Pumpkin Spiced latte's! Yummy! And the soon arrival of Cranberry Bliss bars! Double YUMMMMY!
My first on of the season.

2. Fall also means driving in the rain. Not so much fun. Although I do realize that I live in California and don't have to drive in severe driving conditions. I get it. I have it easy. I still don't have to like it.
Let's pause. I want to state right now that I am venting. Let me. It's my blog. I'm just getting it out. I know I have a VERY easy life. Just let me vent. Don't take me seriously. Laugh at me. Don't scold me for being a whinny baby. I perfected the wine. It's me at times. Take the good with the bad. :-)
Back to #3
3. I don't like to be cold. Fall means cold. Now we are going to have to put our new porch furniture away and not use it again till it's warm. I love sitting out there! And now I can't. It's too cold!
4. I have to cover these rolls!

5. Fall means fun holidays! I love decorating for fall and Thanksgiving! And Thanksgiving means shopping with Smelly! I LOVE shopping with Smelly! That reminds me... I have to get her "Day after Thanksgiving Shopping Rules" They are a must!
6. OH! and on chilly mornings making hot coco with tons of marshmellows! Whoo hoo! Rainy mornings, pancakes and hot coco in the "Home Sweet Home" mugs! Yippie!
7. Kids "off track" right in the middle of rainy weather. Stuck inside. Driving me up the wall just wanting to sit and watch TV.
8. Fall means rain and soon the brown or black hills will be pretty rolling green hills! I love when it seems like everything is green! And how the hills sparkle right after a light rain. And the great big puffy clouds that roll by... so pretty!
9. And Christmas is near! I love Christmas! Christmas presents! Matching Christmas dresses! Singing Christmas songs in Church! Celebrating Gods greatest Gift to us! Yeah! Christmas will be here soon!
OHhhh! That leads me to this last sad thought...
10. Fall leads to winter... and winter means my baby will be a big one year old.
That makes me sad.
I can't leave on that note...
Fall is right here and you know what that means for the Sossaman family???
I officially get a niece and a nephew! Yahoo! And Grammy and Paka will have 2 more grandchildren!
Jenny is getting married!
That's a great note to end with!

All right here we go! (Said in a very Ryan Seacrest way)
Ten random things about me:
1. I think I have the most blessed life. Sometimes I get myself afraid that it's all a dream and I'll wake up...
2. Most of you know this already... I can't stand my food to touch. Some foods are okay... Very few foods can touch. Salad and spaghetti... YUCK!
3. I have the urge to bite Maggie. Like really bite her. Daily. Don't call CPS. I'm good. I promise I won't. It's my daily lesson in self control.
4. I love a hooded sweatshirt.
5. Bethany and I have been best friends for nearly 20 years. We meet in the fall of '89. I can't believe I'm old enough to have had a friend that long.
6. I love my Canon 30D
7. I love chocolate.
8. The book I'm reading is Trophy of Grace by Bronwen Healy. Man! I love that girl!
9. I'm all about E Entertainment Telvision. E News, The Daily Ten, Keeping up with the Kardashians... I love them all! OH! and The Soup! I LOVE THE SOUP! Joel Kills me!
10. I seriously have the greatest group of friends in the world. I'm not kidding. I really do.

We will see how long this will last. Now, I'm not guaranteeing that you will get ten photos on tuesday... Just ten random things and/or photos.
Tonight I just happened to get ten photos up.
Aren't I cool?
Not really.
I did get ten photos up, but it was rushed and right before bed time.
Today, I planned on giving you 10 random facts about me, but nothing in my day went as planned. Such is life.
So, here you are... 10 pictures of us enjoying Root Beer floats and wine on our porch. We all love our porch!
Well, Maggie didn't get to have any Brady wouldn't share.

Yummy is a good word to describe her!

Heres what Jeramy was doing while we are enjoying out floats...

These next two are so sweet, if I do say so myself.

How about we end with a group shot?

ETA: I have no idea why I can figure out how to post photos anymore. They always blurry, and sometimes, too big when you click on them... I know most of you don't care. I realize I'm crazy. It's just driving me nuts!

Okay, so I stole the idea. Erin gets the credit. I'll change it up a bit... she does ten random things on tuesdays... I'll sometimes do pictures, and sometimes tell you some random info. How about that? This may end up like my "photo of the day" blog... I'm not sure. I forget I even started that!
Anywho! You get ten pictures this tuesday or wednesday! Here you go!
Teething makes you very tired...

I wish you could see her sucking... Her lips are so yummy!

I thought we'd go outside before it got too hot! Then I thought Maggie would like seeing some bubbles...

It doesn't look like she's liking them so much...

Three year olds can go a little overboard...

Hey! Look at that! Can you see it?

How about now?

And what's the best way to end some outside play time... A "juicey kiss"!
