I really should have Jeramy write this blog post! He could be my guest blogger! Its all the rage right? Being a guest blogger or having guest blogger? I'll ask him next time!
I have to get this post done before Jillian gets done with her Organic Puffs! She's getting pretty fast these days! How she eats them is pretty funny! Almost blog worthy! ALMOST? Who do I think I'm kidding! EVERYTHING that kid does seems to be blog worthy!
I'm having fun with the Bold and Italics.
Okay! Back to camping!
Jeramy likes to tell everyone that he loved camping as a kid. Camping as an adult... not so much. After camping with children of his own he realized why... as a kid his parents did all the work! Camping as an adult... YOU do all the work!
To be honest though... we camp with families who CAMP! Brian makes it his mission to see how well he can feed people camping! Seriously! Ribs, tri tip, SHRIMP! I'm talking seriously yummy! He has his own super great camping stove and he loves to use it.
Goodness! I'm already running out of Puffs!!! Hold on Jilli Beans!!!
Somehow we wiggled our way in with three families who CAMP! They have everything and are ready for anything! Next year I'm making it my mission to contribute something other then mouths to feed! Don't get me wrong we bring food, but my kids like to eat other peoples food. Its true. I don't get it.
A couple of years ago when we went camping we took our van AND Jeramy drove his truck. This year Jeramy decided to rent a little Uhaul trailer. I didn't get a pic, but it was GREAT!! Throw everything in the back of that puppy and you are good to go! No, shoving everything and anything under feet and in-between kids! The Uhaul place will be hearing from us again!
Camping and being outside in nature was just what I needed. There were so many butterflies! I couldn't help but to think that not long ago those butterflies were crawling caterpillars. Everything grows and changes. Change isn't bad... I'd rather be a butterfly then a caterpillar! ;)
While on a walk a man and his wife pointed out that they spotted the rare Sarcoades Sanguinea flower.
We saw maybe 5 of them. I tend to be a geek, but I thought it was pretty cool to see them. I made my kids read about them when we got home. They weren't thrilled or very interested... not at all. Jane tried to be... I'll give her credit for that, but whatever! They're smarter now thanks to me! ;)
Between hanging out with friends and being in nature I came home feeling refreshed! And... dirty. ;)
A few of my favorite images...
I'm SO going to bring a pan to pan for gold! I KNOW thats real gold in that their river!
This kid! She's such a turkey! This picture face is KILLING me! Please know this cracks her up to make this face! I'm going to be sure to keep taking thees images and when she's a teenager I'm going to put them up everywhere for everyone to see! Punk kid! ;)

Looks like fun Sharon. Great images too! I really like the one of the girls in the hammock. Thanks for sharing!
